Elkhart Wedding Photographer

I photograph weddings in a documentary style, focusing on what actually happens throughout the day rather than directing or staging moments. My goal is to capture the way the day feels while it’s happening, including the interactions, expressions, and in-between moments that tend to pass quickly.

Most of the time, I work quietly and let things unfold naturally so couples and guests can stay present and focused on the experience of the day.

How I work

My approach is intentionally low-pressure. I give couples space to be themselves and to move through the day without feeling managed or monitored. I pay close attention to what’s happening and step in only when a moment would benefit from a little guidance.

Before the wedding, I like to talk through preferences so I understand what matters most to you. Some couples prefer a photographer who is close and involved, especially during the ceremony, while others want coverage that stays more in the background. I’m comfortable working either way, and the level of presence is something we decide together ahead of time.

The overall goal is that you’re focused on getting married, and spending time with your loved ones, not on perfect posing.

Coverage and pricing

Standard wedding coverage is $1,800 and includes up to ten hours of coverage on the wedding day. This is designed to document the full day, from early preparations through the main events. Finished images are delivered digitally in high resolution with the ability to download, share, and print.

Location

I’m based in Elkhart, Indiana and photograph weddings throughout the surrounding area.
