Meyer Broadway Disc Golf

Meyer Broadway County Park has two 18-hole disc golf courses. I played Course #2, which stays in the woods for much of the round. Even on a hot day, the shade made it comfortable to play. A mountain bike trail crosses the course in a few places, so keep an eye out for riders before you throw. Near the park entrance is a small putting course that's a good place to warm up.

 

Mountain Bike Trails

The park has several miles of mountain bike trails that loop through the woods. Some sections cross the disc golf courses, so both riders and golfers should watch for each other. A trail map is posted near the entrance.

 

Playground and Picnic Areas

Near the front of the park are a large playground, picnic pavilions, open grassy areas, and modern restrooms. The layout makes it easy for families to spread out or spend a few hours at the park.

 

Restrooms

Modern restroom buildings are located near the playground and picnic shelters. I also found accessible restroom stalls.

 

Park Improvements

The park looks like it has seen several improvements recently. The playground equipment, disc golf facilities, signs, and other amenities all appeared to be in good condition during my visit.

 

Things to Do in Three Rivers

If you're looking for things to do in Three Rivers, Meyer Broadway County Park packs a lot into one stop. The park has two disc golf courses, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, a dog park, pickleball courts, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and open space to explore. During the winter, the sledding hill and cross-country ski trails are also open when conditions allow.

 

There is a $5 daily vehicle entry fee, which makes it an inexpensive place to spend a few hours if you want to be outside. Whether you're walking the trails, throwing a disc, riding mountain bikes, letting your dog run, or just having a picnic, there's enough here that different people in your group can all find something to do.
