  • Elastic | Glossary

A stretchy band used to bind fabric tightly. Creates strong resist lines. Elastic tool Stretchy bands for holding fabric. The traditional way that people use rubber bands is to spiral a shirt, scrunch or an accordion fold. Most often, you'll see people using liquid dye, in bottles, when they are using elastics to hold a folded shirt in place. I don't often use rubber bands anymore because I am doing geode tie-dye or flowy ice dye, and neither of those uses elastics. But sometimes they can be really helpful if you need to section off some parts of the geode tied shirt, if you want to group together a bunch of the bundles for applying dye with the cold mist method. • How do you attach an outlet air duct on an RV air conditioner?

Attach the outlet air duct to the bottom of the RV air conditioner from inside the vehicle. Align the duct with the marked sides and secure it with four truss head screws for a proper fit. How do you attach an outlet air duct on an RV air conditioner? Attach the outlet air duct to the base of the outdoor RV air conditioner from inside the vehicle using four truss head screws. Make sure the duct is positioned with the correct side facing down and that the markings for direction are aligned before tightening the screws. Installing the Outlet Air Duct Cut the four cable ties and position the outlet air duct at the base of the outdoor unit. The duct must be installed from inside the RV using four truss head screws (#10). Align the duct so the up, down, left, and right markings face the correct directions. The side labeled “this face down” should rest against the bottom of the air conditioner. Do not force or twist the duct once aligned. There is only one correct orientation that allows the mounting holes to line up evenly. Tighten the screws until snug to create a secure connection between the duct and the air conditioner base. • Northern Indiana Event Center (RV Hall of Fame)

A look at the Northern Indiana Event Center at the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart Indiana, with photos, capacity details, and how the space is actually used. Northern Indiana Event Center (RV Hall of Fame) The Northern Indiana Event Center at the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart IN is a venue for conventions, expos, industry events and receptions. Entrance During a recent visit to the RV Hall of Fame, I took this photo of the Northern Indiana Event Center because it is the first entrance you see when you pull in. The museum and the event center share one big building, but the entrances are separate. Visitors usually drive past this side first before looping around to the RV museum entrance. Purpose The space appears to be used for all kinds of large events. The photos on their site show church services, presentations, big meals with round tables, fundraisers, corporate gatherings and what look like wedding receptions. If you can fit a lot of chairs or tables in a room, someone has probably hosted it here. The details The RV/MH Hall of Fame has a new website and from what I can tell, there is a new convention all within the Northern Indiana Events Center. The new space is listed on the site as "The East Wing Convention Hall" and is 36,000 square feet. It can host up to 2,500 seated guests, with a maximum capacity of 4,500 people. They promote it as a space suitable for conventions and large community or corporate events. I have never been inside the convention hall itself. I only see it when I visit the RV Hall of Fame because this is the entrance you pass while driving around the building.
