Goshen Reptile Expo vendors and event photos

The Goshen Reptile Expo happens most months at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen, Indiana. It’s usually the first Saturday of each month, except during the summer when the Elkhart County 4-H Fair takes over the space.

The expo organizer, Tony, manages updates and vendor info through the Goshen Reptile Expo Facebook page. That’s where new dates, building changes, and table info get posted.

The event takes place in one of the main livestock buildings on the fairgrounds. It's often in the Sheep and Swine Arena, but can move depending on space.

Expect local breeders, feeders, reptiles, amphibians, and exotic pets, plus enclosures and supplies for sale.

Are turtles reptiles?

Yes, turtles are reptiles. They are cold-blooded, air-breathing animals with scales and four limbs, belonging to the order Testudines, the same reptile group as tortoises and terrapins.

How long do tarantulas live?

Vendor Rambows and Friends shared that her female tarantulas can live up to ten years, while males usually live a few years less. After reaching maturity, most males live for only about two years.

Do tarantulas make webs?

Yes, tarantulas make webs, but they don’t spin the big wheel-shaped kind. Amber, from Amber Arachnid says they fill their space with silk that they use for walking, sensing, and catching food.

Crested Gecko Lifespan

Crested geckos can live 5 to 15 years in the wild, and up to 20 years in captivity with good care. They do best in environments with stable humidity, low stress, and proper nutrition, which I learned after meeting the vendor Critters, Khaos & Creations.
