Analogous

Colors that sit next to each other on the color wheel. Usually blend well together.

Here we are looking at three colors of textile paint from Jacquard Products that are analogous. Blue, teal, and then pushing into green.

When you use these colors together, they're perceived as being in one cohesive family. You can mix them and they're not going to tone each other down or create unwanted muddy colors.
